Celebrate!!!

Merry Christmas!!! This year, besides celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour, we are celebrating occupation of the church building! We are very excited to have passed the final inspection. We are officially meeting in the building now and are inviting the local people to join us. Here are some photos from the finished building.

All the flooring is in now, we are currently working on interior trim and siding. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support.

Okay, computer and phone are finally back online, so I can get some photos up. Truly, I am sorry it has taken so long to get this done. My computer that I usually do photos on has been in the shop. So, after way too long, here is a photo update.

Wow - it has been over four months since I updated. I am sorry, folks! We've had a busy summer here. The building is now drywalled and painted. We still have to finish the bathrooms, place interior doors, trim, lighting and do the siding. This week, the boiler is supposed to be placed.

Quite honestly, we ran out of funds. Up to this point, we have been able to build the building "pay as we go." But, here we stood at the edge of winter and the building is not finished. We had a choice to make.

All the details aside, we have decided to borrow the money to finish the building. We will be tightening our collective belts to get this loan paid off as soon as possible, and we will be working like crazy in the next several weeks to get everything finished before snow flies.

Please, pray for us for safety and health, so that we can get the building finished and still have the strength to earn our paychecks and get the loan paid back.

Oh My Word! Time is Flying!

So, I promised Pastor Bickish last month that I'd update this and didn't do it. I am sorry. As you can see, a lot of work is getting done. We are working on the inside now. These photos are from the day Bill Wood and Brian Harley sheetrocked the celing. Since then, the ceiling has been insulated and the walls are being sheetrocked. Also, the plumbing is mostly done as is the electrical.
